How To Remember Unit Circle?

Start with the key angles: 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°

Memorize the first quadrant coordinates: (1, 0), (√3/2, 1/2), (√2/2, √2/2), (1/2, √3/2), (0, 1)

Use the pattern for sine: 0, 1/2, √2/2, √3/2, 1

Use the pattern for cosine: 1, √3/2, √2/2, 1/2, 0

Remember that x-values are cosine and y-values are sine

Reflect the first quadrant points into the other quadrants

Use ASTC to remember signs: All, Sine, Tangent, Cosine

Keep the reference angles the same in every quadrant

Practice drawing the circle from memory

Repeatedly write the unit circle until it becomes automatic

Use flashcards for angles and coordinates

Memorize radians alongside degrees

Group special angles together: 0, π/6, π/4, π/3, π/2

Learn the symmetry of the circle

Check each point by its distance from the origin being 1

Use mnemonics for the quadrant signs

Drill the circle in both clockwise and counterclockwise order
