Turn off the machine and unplug it
Remove the water tank, drip tray, and capsule container
Empty and rinse the drip tray and capsule container
Wash the water tank with warm water and mild soap
Refill the water tank with fresh water
Run a cleaning cycle with no capsule inserted
Place a large container under the coffee outlet
Press the button to start the cleaning cycle
Let the water run through until the tank is empty
Repeat the cleaning cycle once more if needed
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth
Clean the coffee outlet and surrounding area with a soft, damp cloth
Reassemble the removable parts
Descale the machine when the descaling alert appears
Use only Nespresso-approved descaling solution
Rinse thoroughly after descaling
Clean the machine regularly to prevent buildup
