Open Gmail
Select the emails you want to delete
Click the trash icon
To delete a single email, open it and click the trash icon
To delete multiple emails, check the boxes next to them and click the trash icon
To delete all emails in a folder, click the select-all checkbox and then click the trash icon
To permanently remove deleted emails, open the Trash folder and click Empty Trash now
To delete emails on mobile, open the Gmail app, select the emails, and tap the trash icon
