Make sure your MacBook and AirPlay device are on the same Wi-Fi network
Open Control Center on your MacBook
Click Screen Mirroring
Select your AirPlay-compatible device
Enter the AirPlay code if prompted
To stream audio, click the Sound icon in Control Center
Select the AirPlay speaker or device you want to use
To stop AirPlay, open Control Center again
Click Screen Mirroring or Sound
Select Stop Mirroring or switch back to MacBook speakers
If AirPlay does not appear, check that your MacBook and device support AirPlay
Update macOS if needed
Restart your MacBook and AirPlay device if connection fails
