Let the solution sit for the recommended time
Rinse lightly with a garden hose if the product allows it
Avoid pressure washing
Check and clean gutters and downspouts
Trim overhanging branches to reduce shade and moisture
Install zinc or copper strips near the roof ridge to help prevent regrowth
Inspect the roof for damaged shingles and replace them if needed
Repeat treatment as needed to keep moss from returning
