Open the Facebook app or website
Tap or click the Search bar
Select See all or Edit next to Recent searches
Tap or click Clear searches
Confirm by selecting Clear or Confirm
To remove one item, tap or click the X next to that search
On mobile, you can also go to Activity log and remove search history there
On desktop, you can use the Activity log to delete individual searches
Repeat the steps if you use Facebook on multiple devices
