Trim excess fan leaves and remove damaged material
Hang branches or whole plants upside down in a dark space
Keep temperature around 60–70°F
Keep relative humidity around 50–60%
Ensure gentle air circulation without direct fan blast
Dry until small stems snap instead of bend
Trim buds from branches if not already done
Place buds loosely in airtight glass jars
Fill jars about 70–75% full
Store jars in a cool, dark place
Open jars daily for the first 1–2 weeks to release moisture
Burp jars for a few minutes each time
Check for excess moisture or mold
Continue curing for at least 2–4 weeks
Cure longer for improved smoothness and flavor
Keep jars sealed tightly between burping sessions
Avoid heat, light, and humidity swings
