Open the Word document
Select the text or content you want to delete
Press Backspace or Delete
To delete a page, select all content on that page and delete it
To delete a blank page, place the cursor on the page and press Backspace or Delete
To delete a document file, close Word first
Find the document in File Explorer or Finder
Right-click the file
Select Delete or Move to Trash
Empty the Recycle Bin or Trash if needed
