Draw a small oval for the head
Add a larger oval for the body
Connect the head and body with two short neck lines
Draw two long ears on top of the head
Add a snout extending from the front of the head
Draw two small circles for the eyes
Add a curved line for the mouth
Sketch four straight legs under the body
Add hooves at the bottom of each leg
Draw a short tail at the back of the body
Add a mane along the neck if desired
Outline the donkey with darker lines
Erase extra sketch lines
Add simple shading or spots if desired
