Use paper only
Fold a square sheet in half lengthwise
Cut or tear the sheet into two equal rectangles
Fold each rectangle lengthwise in half
Fold each long strip in half again
Fold one end of each strip diagonally to form two angled pieces
Make one strip a mirror image of the other
Interlock the two pieces by sliding the tabs into each other
Tuck the ends securely to lock the shape
Flatten the center to form the star shape
