Locate the RAM slots on the motherboard
Release the retaining clips on the slot
Align the RAM module notch with the slot key
Insert the RAM firmly and evenly until it clicks into place
Ensure the retaining clips lock onto the module
Reinstall the case or access panel
Reconnect power and turn on the computer
Check the BIOS or operating system to confirm the RAM is detected
