Let the wax harden completely
Scrape off excess wax with a dull knife or credit card
Place the fabric between paper towels or brown paper bags
Press with a warm iron on low heat to transfer wax to the paper
Replace the paper as wax absorbs
Repeat until no more wax transfers
Treat any remaining stain with dish soap or stain remover
Wash the clothing according to the care label
Check the stain before drying
Repeat treatment if needed before using a dryer
For delicate fabrics, use a hair dryer on low heat instead of an iron
