Gently rub the detergent into the fabric
Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes
Wash the fabric in the coldest water safe for the material
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if needed
For delicate fabrics, use a stain remover made for the fabric type
For dried ink, soak the stain in rubbing alcohol before washing
Avoid using heat until the stain is completely gone
