Scrape off any excess putty with a dull knife or spoon
Let the putty dry if it is still soft
Freeze the clothing for 30 to 60 minutes to harden the putty
Break off the hardened pieces gently
Apply rubbing alcohol, vinegar, or a stain remover to the residue
Blot the area with a clean cloth
Wash the clothing in the warmest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if any putty remains
Air dry until the stain is completely gone
