Stop drinking alcohol immediately

Rest and sleep if possible
Sip fluids slowly to avoid vomiting
Avoid more alcohol
Avoid caffeine if it makes you feel worse
Ask a sober person to stay with you if possible
Seek medical help immediately if you have trouble breathing, cannot stay awake, have seizures, repeated vomiting, confusion, or blue/pale skin
