Open Facebook and log in to your account
Go to the profile of the person you want to check
Look for the button under their name
If it says Friend Request Sent, the request has been sent
If it says Requested, the request is still pending
If it says Add Friend, no request has been sent
Open the Facebook menu
Tap Friends
Tap Friend Requests
Check the Sent tab if available
Review the list of outgoing friend requests
Use Activity Log to view past friend request activity
Go to your profile
Tap the three dots or More option
Open Activity Log
Search for friend request actions
Check your notifications for request confirmations
If the request was accepted, the button will change to Friends
If the request was declined or removed, the button may return to Add Friend
