Turn on your Fire TV device
Put fresh batteries in the Fire TV remote
Move the remote close to the Fire TV device
Press and hold the Home button for about 10 seconds
Wait for the remote to pair automatically
If it does not pair, unplug the Fire TV device for 30 seconds and plug it back in
Try holding the Home button again for 10 seconds
If needed, use the Fire TV app to access settings
Go to Settings
Select Controllers and Bluetooth Devices
Select Amazon Fire TV Remotes
Select Add New Remote
Press and hold the Home button on the remote to pair it
If the remote still does not pair, replace the batteries and try again
