Check whether your Dell laptop has a backlit keyboard
Press the keyboard backlight key, usually F10, F6, or the key with a backlight icon
If needed, hold Fn and press the backlight key
Press the key repeatedly to cycle through brightness levels
Open Dell QuickSet or Dell Power Manager if your model uses software controls
Go to BIOS or UEFI settings and enable keyboard backlight if it is disabled
Update the keyboard and system drivers from Dell Support
Use Dell SupportAssist to check for hardware or software issues
Restart the laptop and try the backlight key again
If there is no backlight icon or option, your model may not support a lit keyboard
