Cut the top off a plastic bottle
Invert the top and place it into the bottom like a funnel
Pour a small amount of sugar water, fruit juice, or vinegar into the bottom
Add a drop of dish soap to break the surface tension
Tape the funnel in place if needed
Place the trap where flies gather
Empty and replace the bait regularly
Keep the trap away from children and pets
