Lay the shorts flat on a smooth surface
Smooth out any wrinkles
Align the waistband and legs evenly
Find the crotch seam where the legs meet
Measure from the crotch seam straight down the inside of one leg to the bottom hem
Use a tape measure and keep it along the inner seam line
Record the length in inches or centimeters
Repeat on the other leg if needed to confirm consistency
