Check the control panel for a Sound, Beep, Volume, or Mute button
Press and hold the Sound, Beep, or Mute button for 3 to 5 seconds
Look for a settings or options menu on the microwave display
Use the arrow or number keys to find the sound setting
Select Off, Mute, or Low for the beep volume
Press Start or OK to save the setting
Unplug the microwave for a few seconds and plug it back in if no mute option exists
