Gather paracord, scissors, lighter, and a buckle or clasp
Measure your wrist and cut cord to length
Melt the cord ends lightly to prevent fraying
Attach the cord to one side of the buckle
Fold the cord in half if making a double-strand bracelet
Secure the center loop to the buckle
Thread the working ends through the other buckle piece
Choose a knot pattern such as cobra weave
Cross the left strand over the center strands
Bring the right strand over the left strand and under the center
Pull tight to form the first knot
Repeat the pattern, alternating sides
Keep knots snug and even
Continue until the bracelet reaches the desired length
Attach the ends to the buckle
Trim any excess cord
Melt the trimmed ends to seal them
Let the bracelet cool before wearing
