Open your Google Docs document
Highlight the text you want to comment on
Right-click the selected text
Click Comment
Type your comment
Click Comment to post it
You can also use the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + M on Windows or Cmd + Option + M on Mac
To add a comment without selecting text, click the comment icon in the toolbar
Type your comment and click Comment
