Power off the PC
Unplug the power cable
Press and hold the power button for a few seconds
Open the PC case
Locate the RAM slots
Check the motherboard manual for supported RAM type and slot order
Release the RAM slot clips
Align the RAM module notch with the slot
Insert the RAM firmly until it clicks into place
Close the case
Reconnect the power cable
Turn on the PC
Check BIOS or system settings to confirm the RAM is detected
Run a memory test if needed
