Turn on the Wii console
Open the SD card slot cover on the front of the Wii
Press the red SYNC button inside the SD card slot cover
Remove the battery cover from the Wii Remote
Press the red SYNC button inside the battery compartment
Wait for the lights on the Wii Remote to stop blinking and stay lit
Repeat the sync process if the remote does not connect
Replace the battery cover on the Wii Remote
Close the SD card slot cover on the Wii
