Select any cell in the table or PivotTable
Go to the Insert tab
Click Slicer
Choose the field or fields you want to use
Click OK
Use the slicer buttons to filter the data
To connect a slicer to multiple PivotTables, select the slicer
Go to the Slicer tab or Slicer Tools tab
Click Report Connections or PivotTable Connections
Select the PivotTables you want to connect
Click OK
