How To Adjust PD On Trial Frame?

Center the trial frame on the patient’s face

Adjust the nose pads so the frame sits level and comfortable

Align the frame bridge with the center of the nose

Measure the distance between the centers of the pupils

Set the monocular PD on the trial frame using the left and right pupil centers

Move each lens holder horizontally until each lens center matches each pupil center

Check that the frame is not tilted up, down, or to either side

Recheck the PD alignment from the front at eye level

Confirm the patient is looking straight ahead

Tighten the frame adjustments after the PD is set

Verify the final alignment before placing trial lenses
