Open the Camera app on your Chromebook
Click the Settings icon if available
Look for Brightness, Exposure, or Image adjustments
Move the brightness slider to the desired level
If no brightness control appears, adjust lighting in the room
Use a lamp or face a window for more light
Clean the camera lens if the image looks dark
Check Chromebook display settings if you only need the screen brighter
Update Chrome OS if camera controls are missing
Restart the Chromebook if the camera settings do not appear
