Locate the water pressure regulator on the main water line
Check the current water pressure with a pressure gauge
Loosen the locknut on the regulator adjustment screw
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to increase pressure
Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise to decrease pressure
Recheck the pressure with the gauge after each adjustment
Tighten the locknut once the desired pressure is reached
Test faucets and fixtures to confirm proper flow
Call a plumber if the regulator does not adjust properly
