How To Alphabetize In Google Sheets?

Select the cells/range you want to sort

Go to Data → Sort range

Check “Data has header row” if applicable

Choose the column to sort by

Select A → Z for ascending (alphabetical A to Z)

If sorting by multiple columns, add another sort rule using “Add another sort column”

Click Sort
