Select the range of cells you want to alphabetize
Click Data in the top menu
Choose Sort range
Check Data has header row if applicable
Select the column you want to sort by
Choose A to Z for ascending order or Z to A for descending order
Click Sort
To alphabetize a single column without affecting others, select only that column before sorting
To keep rows together, always sort the entire table range instead of one column alone
