How To APA Two Authors?

In-text citation: use both authors’ last names every time

In-text citation format: (Author1 & Author2, Year)

Narrative citation format: Author1 and Author2 (Year)

Use “and” in the sentence, but “&” inside parentheses

Reference list format: Lastname, A. A., & Lastname, B. B. (Year). Title of work. Publisher

Alphabetize the reference list by the first author’s last name

If the work has a DOI or URL, include it at the end of the reference entry

For three or more authors, use the first author’s last name followed by “et al.” in in-text citations
