Gather gel nail polish, base coat, top coat, UV or LED lamp, nail file, buffer, cuticle pusher, lint-free wipes, and alcohol or cleanser
Remove old polish
Trim and file nails to the desired shape
Gently push back cuticles
Lightly buff the nail surface
Clean nails with alcohol or cleanser to remove dust and oils
Apply a thin layer of gel base coat
Cure under the UV or LED lamp for the recommended time
Apply a thin layer of gel color polish
Cure under the lamp
Repeat with a second thin color coat if needed
Cure under the lamp again
Apply a thin layer of gel top coat
Cure under the lamp
Wipe off any sticky residue if required by the product
Apply cuticle oil after finishing
