Open the Excel workbook where you want to attach the file
Click the cell where you want the file link to appear
Go to the Insert tab
Click Object in the Text group
Select Create from File
Click Browse and choose the Excel file you want to attach
Select Link to file if you want the attachment to stay connected to the original file
Select Display as icon if you want it shown as an icon
Click OK
Save the workbook
