Measure the roofline and mark gutter slope toward downspouts
Install fascia brackets or hangers at regular intervals
Snap a chalk line to guide the gutter pitch
Cut gutter sections to length as needed
Join gutter sections with connectors and sealant
Attach end caps to open ends
Position the gutter against the fascia
Fasten gutters to the hangers or brackets with screws
Install downspout outlets where needed
Attach downspouts to the outlets
Secure downspouts to the wall with straps
Seal all joints and seams
Test with water and adjust for proper drainage
