Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)
Wash and dry the Danish squash
Trim the ends
Cut the squash into halves, spears, or cubes
Remove seeds if needed
Place the squash on a baking sheet
Drizzle with olive oil
Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Add optional seasonings such as garlic powder, paprika, or herbs
Toss to coat evenly
Arrange in a single layer
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes
Flip halfway through baking
Bake until tender and lightly browned
Remove from the oven
Serve warm
