How to Bake Lobster Tails in the Oven?

Preheat the oven to 425°F

Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment

Use kitchen shears to cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the center

Gently loosen the meat from the shell without detaching it

Lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell

Place the tails on the prepared baking sheet

Brush the meat with melted butter

Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic or paprika

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and reaches 140°F to 145°F

Broil for 1 to 2 minutes if desired for extra browning

Serve immediately with melted butter and lemon wedges
