Report the account in the Instagram app
Open the profile
Tap the three dots
Select Report
Choose the reason that best matches the violation
Submit multiple reports if the account repeatedly violates Instagram rules
Report specific posts, stories, reels, comments, and messages from that account
Use the Help Center to report severe policy violations
Submit evidence such as screenshots, usernames, links, and dates
Report impersonation if the account is pretending to be you or someone else
Report harassment, threats, hate speech, nudity, scams, or spam
Ask other affected users to report the same account
Block the account after reporting it
If the account belongs to you and you want it removed, delete it from your account settings
If you believe the account is violating laws, contact local authorities and provide the account details
