Earn a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution
Enroll as an advocate with a State Bar Council
Gain legal practice experience as an advocate
Prepare for and clear the Judicial Services Examination of the respective state
Meet the age and eligibility criteria set by the recruiting authority
Clear the preliminary examination, main examination, and interview
Complete any required training after selection
Be appointed as a Civil Judge or Judicial Magistrate
Gain experience and progress through the judicial hierarchy through merit and service
For higher judicial posts, qualify through promotion or higher judicial service examinations
Maintain integrity, legal knowledge, and good conduct throughout service
