Tap the info icon or menu
Choose Block this caller or Block number
Confirm the block
On iPhone, open the Phone app
Tap Recents or Contacts
Tap the info icon next to the number
Scroll down and tap Block this Caller

On Android, open the Phone app
Tap Recent or Contacts
Select the number
Tap More or the three-dot menu
Tap Block number or Block contact
Confirm
Open your Messages app
Open the conversation from the number
Tap the contact or menu
Select Block number or Block contact
Confirm
Use your carrier’s blocking or spam protection settings
Add the number to your blocked list in phone settings
Report the number as spam if available
