Keep Spotify updated

Avoid third-party modified Spotify clients
Sign out and back in if ads appear unexpectedly
Reinstall the Spotify app if ad-free Premium is not working
Check that your Premium subscription is active
Contact Spotify Support if ads still appear on a Premium account
