Open Facebook and go to the person’s profile
Click or tap the three-dot menu
Select Block
Confirm the block
On the Facebook app, tap the menu icon
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Tap Blocking
Tap Add to blocked list
Enter the person’s name
Select the person and confirm
To block someone from Messenger, open the chat
Tap the person’s name at the top
Tap Block
Choose Block messages and calls or Block on Facebook
Confirm the block
To unblock someone, go to Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Tap Blocking
Find the person in the blocked list
Tap Unblock
Confirm the change
