Enable spam call blocking on your phone (Call settings → Caller ID & spam protection / Block spam calls)
Turn on “Filter spam calls” (where available)
Use your carrier’s spam call filtering service (activate via carrier app or website)
Add unknown callers to voicemail and let them self-identify
Block specific numbers from the call log or recent calls
Use “Block contact” for numbers that repeatedly call
Report spam calls through your phone’s “Report spam” option
Install a reputable call-blocking app from your device’s official app store
Enable call-blocking and caller-ID features in the installed app
Keep your phone OS and call-blocking app updated
Turn off voicemail notifications for unknown numbers (optional)
Avoid answering unknown numbers; let calls go to voicemail
Register your number on national do-not-call lists (where applicable)
Disable “Allow robocalls” or similar settings in your call/telecom settings (if present)
Review and remove unknown permissions from call-blocking/phone-related apps
Keep your contacts list updated so known callers are more likely to get through
