Insert a straw or balloon pump nozzle into the self-sealing valve
Hold the valve closed around the straw or nozzle
Blow air in slowly and steadily, or use a pump
Stop when the balloon is firm but not overfilled
Remove the straw or nozzle carefully
Pinch the valve closed so the air stays inside
If needed, seal the valve by pressing it flat with your fingers
