Gather balloons, balloon pump, fishing line or balloon decorating strip, hooks or weights, tape, scissors, and optional glue dots
Choose the arch location and measure the space
Inflate balloons in different sizes for a fuller look
Tie or twist balloons into pairs
Twist pairs together to make balloon clusters
Insert clusters into a decorating strip or tie them onto fishing line
Alternate balloon sizes and colors as you build the arch
Secure one end of the arch to a stable anchor point
Shape the arch by adding more clusters and adjusting placement
Fill gaps with smaller balloons using glue dots or tied pieces
Secure the other end to the second anchor point
Check stability and tighten loose sections
Trim excess strip or line
Move and adjust the arch until it looks balanced
