Fill a pot with enough water to cover the hot dogs
Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil
Add the hot dog to the boiling water
Reduce the heat to a simmer
Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, or until heated through
Remove the hot dog with tongs
Place it in a bun or serve as desired
