How To Breed Villagers In Minecraft?

Build a villager breeding setup with at least 2 villagers and 3 beds

Ensure the area is within village boundaries (villagers must be able to pathfind to beds)

Place the beds (at least 3 total) with at least 2 blocks of space around them

Give both villagers access to beds and confirm they are not frightened or locked in place

Provide food to both villagers:

Bread (from wheat and any villager workstation)

Carrots (from carrots)

Potatoes (from potatoes)

Beetroots (from beetroots)

Keep the villagers willing to breed by ensuring they have food and are not already breeding

Wait for breeding:

A villager will pick up food and move toward a bed

A baby villager will be produced after the breeding animation completes

Protect villagers from threats (light the area, use barriers, or keep mobs out)

Add more beds to expand population:

Each new baby requires additional available beds for continued breeding

After the baby is born, leave the beds available and continue supplying food to the adult villagers
