Add yeast nutrient
Aerate or stir the must
Pitch the yeast
Fit an airlock
Ferment at a stable temperature
Monitor fermentation until activity slows
Rack the mead off sediment into a clean vessel
Allow it to clear and age
Bottle only after fermentation is complete
Store bottles properly before drinking
