How To Brew Mead?

Sanitize all equipment

Gather honey, water, yeast, and yeast nutrient

Mix honey with water in a sanitized fermenter

Add yeast nutrient

Aerate or stir the must

Pitch the yeast

Fit an airlock

Ferment at a stable temperature

Monitor fermentation until activity slows

Rack the mead off sediment into a clean vessel

Allow it to clear and age

Bottle only after fermentation is complete

Store bottles properly before drinking
