Define the drone’s purpose and target specifications

Assemble the frame
Mount the motors on the frame
Mount the ESCs
Install the power distribution board or wiring
Mount the flight controller
Connect the motors to the ESCs
Connect the ESCs to power
Connect the flight controller to the ESCs
Connect the receiver to the flight controller
Connect GPS, camera, or other peripherals if used
Secure all components with vibration isolation if needed
Install the propellers after all wiring is complete
Configure the flight controller firmware
Calibrate the accelerometer and compass if present
Calibrate the radio transmitter and receiver
Calibrate the ESCs if required
Set flight modes and failsafe settings
Check motor rotation direction
Verify propeller orientation
Test power-up without propellers
Perform a short hover test
Tune control settings if needed
Inspect all fasteners, wiring, and battery mounting before each flight
