Cut the tabletop to size

Attach the lower stretchers or shelf supports if needed
Secure the tabletop to the frame
Install a lower shelf or storage area if desired
Add a vise, pegboard, or tool mounts if needed
Sand all surfaces and edges
Apply finish, paint, or sealant if desired
Check that the workbench is level and stable
